Remembrance day each year is the time for us to honour the brave soldiers we lost on battlefields. From France to Afghanistan, we take time to think of those who have given up everything so we may live the lifestyle we
 live today...

But what about those we lose to the invisible wounds of war? Suicide and other mental health related deaths are due to the damage caused by war yet rarely acknowledge the deaths as such. We often do not
acknowledge those deaths.

We have created a pin which is meant to be worn on Remembrance day, or any day, to honour those we have lost, and continue to lose, even long after their physical war has ended. The pin was created after the song “Lanterns”, as a way to show support for the issue of mental health and suicide plaguing our veteran

community.
